Rock-N-Read celebrates Road Recovery’s 21-year anniversary with a ‘one-night-only’ unvarnished mix of music and theater. Together with Road Recovery, Winger, Howard, Erbe, and Kirke are at the heart of the event as curators. They will bring together semi-unplugged musical performances and selections from dramatic works in support of Road Recovery’s ground-breaking youth programs and community outreach events. Drawing from a cast of Road Recovery’s notable friends and supporters from the music, film, and theatre worlds, musical performances will be interspersed with selected readings meant to inform, move and entertain the audience.
Road Recovery, an entertainment industry-based charity, has helped tens of thousands of youth and young adults face drug/alcohol addiction and other mental health adversities through the efforts and support of music industry professionals who have overcome similar struggles.
