Aaron Burnett is a composer and tenor saxophonist born in California and raised in Mykonos, Greece. He was formally trained in modern classical and jazz from age 11.  After touring the world with Esperanza Spalding, performing with Kurt Rosenwinkel, and performing his own music with his projects. Aaron Burnett, in his first premiere debut recording, now enters the jazz scene with his individual unique standpoint of modern jazz today.  In this recording Aaron attempts to bridge the gap between avant garde, modern classical, urban music, electronic music, and world music to establish a new avenue in which the music can be presented to the audience.  ”The music in this album reflects our urgency for freedom and peace in a world ruled by corporations and overwhelming.
