New York City-based pianist Addison Frei (“Fry”) has garnered accolades including being named a Yamaha Young Performing Artist, first prize in the Jacksonville Jazz Piano Competition and second prize in the inaugural American Jazz Pianist Competition. His compositions have earned two ASCAP awards and residencies at Ravinia and Betty Carter’s Jazz Ahead. He has toured with Manhattan Transfer co-founder Janis Siegel and released two cd’s on Armored Records: Intentions and Flow (AMP Trio). A 2014 summa cum laude graduate of the prestigious University of North Texas Jazz Studies program, Addison traveled and recorded with Grammy-nominated One O’Clock Lab Band.
